Started off the day at the Anne Frank house (where Cyrus from Scandal was spotted !). Luckily we bought tickets ahead of time, and didn't have to wait in the ridiculous line (pictures to come later). It didn't take as long as I expected, only two hours (haha). But basically you walk through the different rooms in the house and learn what each one was. All the rooms are unfurnished (per Otto Frank's request) but pictures of the reconstructed rooms are in each with descriptions from Anne's diary. I read the book a long time ago so I didn't quite remember everything, but the tour was informative and really interesting with videos, pictures, and they also have the original diary!
That was the only museum we went to today, afterwards we basically just wandered around walking into cute shops in the area and even found a market (!!). Back in Dusseldorf now and leaving Europe tomorrow.
Very cool trip. Brings back memories of our trip to Germany. Hopefully we will get back to Europe soon! Hope all is well!
