Luzern in the rain

My last day in Luzern it ended up raining all day. But we walked around anyways. First to the first Jesuit church in Luzern, with gorgeous Baroque style decoration inside.

Then we walked to the old city wall, that has about 10 different watch towers- many of which you can climb up and then walk along the city wall.

After taking a quick lunch break, we finally walked to the Lion Monument of Luzern. It is dedicated to Swiss soldiers who died in France.  It's a gigantic lion carved out of stone into the side of a cliff.  It was way bigger than I expected.

Around 10 we left for Salzburg, and what an adventure that train ride was. More next post...
